Laura Ball is 25 years old and graduated from The University of Portsmouth in 2009 with a BA Hons in Fine Art. It was during her time at university that Laura discovered a passion for nature, painting and ceramics.
 
During her degree Laura focused painting on learning the basics of photography alongside experimenting with inventive ways to present paintings outside of the museum/gallery environment. Turning her own paintings and illustrations into jewellery was the perfect way of turning her passion into wearable art. Her favourite ceramic pattern is the traditional blue and white Willow design.
 
When designing Florie Willow Jewellery Laura is inspired by nature in the surrounding Suffolk countryside, first morning sunshine, sepia tones, trawling antique treasure troves and everything quintessentially British.
